To repair the decayed tooth, Dr. Tyler Carlson will first carefully remove the damaged or decayed portion of the tooth. We utilize local anesthesia to ensure that this process is as comfortable as possible. Once the decay has been removed, we clean the tooth and fill it with composite resin. After the resin is shaped to fit the tooth, it is cured (hardened) with a special type of light.
